McDonald’s plans to reshape MyMcDonald’s Rewards in the US with activity-based tiers and partner perks that include Uber ride credits.
Global CMO Morgan Flatley told investors the chain wants to reactivate more than 150 million infrequent loyalty guests with practical offers and brand partnerships. Activity tiers, early menu access and partner benefits are part of the pitch. Flatley said Uber ride credits and Disney+ subscriptions were “still to come this year in the U.S.” Exact credit amounts, eligibility and launch dates were not set out in the coverage.
The Independent, Restaurant Dive and other business outlets reported the investor-day remarks. For the taxi and private-hire trade the headline is limited: a loyalty partnership that may put Uber credits in front of US McDonald’s app users — not a UK taxi policy change.
