Flintshire County Council is investigating after a taxi driver was filmed apparently watching YouTube while taking a vulnerable child to school.
Daily Post reports Cllr Andrew Parkhurst posted footage showing a YouTube clip on a phone while the vehicle moved, saying the passenger had additional learning needs. He called it unsafe and unacceptable and asked whether it was a one-off. Streetscene chief officer Katie Wilby said the video is “deeply concerning,” an immediate inquiry is under way with the transport provider, and further comment would be inappropriate while it continues. Location details were not released.
